Travel: San Francisco

I have always consider myself a born solo traveller. Like I have mentioned in my last post that I didn’t ever feel lonely when I travelled by myself, and I actually liked the quietness. I am definitely more afraid of going with someone that’s not in the same pace especially when I want to snap pictures. I like having full control of my itinerary. Yet after a short trip with this guy, I have realized that maybe I do not not like having a companion after all. Having someone to read the map, to take care of the hotel check in, to watch my back when I photographed, to rescue me when I was about to fall and to swap the ice cream with when I did not enjoy mine. Even listening to him singing in the car was actually very enjoyable.

SF-1Seriously I felt a little offended that people asked him to take photos for them instead of inviting me. Come on! I am the professional here. 😉

SF-8The last time I visited the Golden Gate bridge was 1.5 years ago. That day I went the bridge was mostly behind the mist. Look at how beautiful the weather was this time! Beautiful weather, awesome companion, amazing food, what more can one ask for? (hmm…maybe a better camera with a better lens?)

SF-21*It’s weird that the photos look kind of out-focused in this size, but if you enlarge them by clicking on the photo, they look sharp and in-focused. Or…is it my eyes?

SF-35This sushi RAN place in Sausalito definitely took me by surprise. They served top quality food that was to die for and the service was excellent.

sf-39Look at the sunlight! How can one resist to take a photo of the food when there is such great sunlight? *tsk tsk* Don’t ever stop a professional photographer from snapping a picture. Especially an asian female photographer. You will get evil eye stare!

SF-65My time in San Francisco was just too short. How I wish I could stay for a month.
